Below are examples of parts that CAULDRON has improved.

CAULDRON kicked off manufacturing of it's first part with this sprocket casting.   Designed for a grueling track drive application in which the drive sprocket is constantly drug through dirt, this sprocket extends the life of both the track and the sprocket.  This sprocket fits a Nachi PHV hydraulic motor and drives a 52.5 mm pitch Bridgestone rubber track.  The advantages this has over the existing OEM part are a more accurate machined tooth profile and an altered tooth profile. A more accurate tooth profile is created by machining the tooth instead of investment casting casting it, for aproximately 10x the profile accuracy.   Improved accuracy in the tooth profile and location will equate to a smoother interface with the driven part, and a resulting longer wear life of both the track and sprocket.   The tooth profile is altered in reverse only to diminish the stress induced in the rubber track embeds, which should extend the fatigue life of the embeds.

This 25 tooth drive sprocket is perfect for applications using a Nachi PHV-4B hydraulic motor on a track drive if track embed life is an issue.  The teeth are supper hard, which helps preserve their shape when grinding through dirt.  Maintaining a good tooth profile significantly extends the life of the steel embeds in the rubber track.
